New Playground Communication Board Fosters Connection at Briarwood

Playground Communication Board awarded to Ms. Nowacki at Briarwood

This grant established a communication station on Briarwood playground.  It features symbols and language tools designed to empower students with communication difficulties, enabling them to more effectively interact with their peers and participate more fully in playground activities. A secondary benefit is a greater understanding among all students regarding diverse communication methods, promoting empathy and inclusive play.
