RISE: Recreation • Inclusion • Sports • Engagement

RISE brings Florham Park’s special education students in grades K-8 together once a month for inclusive, non‑competitive sports and recreation at Brooklake School. Every child is matched with a volunteer buddy, creating a welcoming environment where encouragement, connection, and celebration are fostered.

Program Purpose

RISE gives students of all abilities the chance to move, play, and build confidence in a supportive, sensory‑aware environment. Through adapted sports clinics and meaningful peer partnerships, participants experience: · Confidence through movement · Genuine social connection · A sense of belonging · Opportunities to practice teamwork and empathy.

The release form must be completed prior to signing up for a session.
