This grant funds a 12-month subscription and breakout kits for the classroom to foster constructive challenges for all learners. Through these immersive games, students are challenged with higher-order thinking, moving beyond memorization to analyze, synthesize, and apply knowledge in new ways. The activities also boost key social-emotional skills such as teamwork, empathy, perseverance, and problem-solving, developing essential life skills. Furthermore, Breakout EDU fosters a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace productive struggle, develop grit, and learn to re-evaluate their approaches as they problem-solve.
