Life Skills Play Materials awarded to Ms. Becovic at Briarwood for us in the Multiple Disabilities Classroom

Students in the MD (Multiple Disabilities) classroom require highly individualized instruction to develop essential life skills, including following basic instructions and maintaining safety in the community. To effectively engage these students in critical life skills training, it's crucial to use highly engaging materials that capture and maintain their attention.

This grant funds the purchase of a selection of engaging educational toys that will directly support the implementation of the Universal Life Skills Program (FTF Consulting). These specific items have been chosen for their ability to promote focus and participation, while simultaneously fostering the development of fine motor skills. By integrating these appealing resources into targeted play, the project aims to create an effective and enjoyable learning environment that supports students in acquiring vital life skills.
