Indoor Sensory Path awarded to Ms. Tedesco at Brooklake
Sensory paths focus on the whole student allowing them to take a “brain break” and spend a small amount of time during the day following a path (walking, hopping, pushing, bouncing, and more). Sensory paths aid with the development of motor skills, such as balance, eye-hand coordination, and special awareness. Because of COVID-19, students are over-stimulated, over anxious, and are re-learning more than just academics. This sensory path will provide a way for students to calm down and work through anxiety.
