Wobble Cushions awarded to Ms. DeCaprio at Ridgedale

This grant funds a class set of Wobble Cushions for the science classroom at Ridgedale, offering a softer, more balanced, and ultimately enhanced learning experience. These adjustable cushions allow students to customize their seating by controlling the inflation and height, ensuring optimal comfort.

In an era where fidget tools are increasingly used to aid student concentration, wobble cushions offer a superior alternative. By promoting ideal posture and back support, these cushions allow students to keep their hands free for writing and minimize distractions often associated with hand fidgets. The body naturally finds its comfortable center of gravity on a wobble cushion, much like with a stability ball, but with greater stability. Furthermore, these versatile cushions can be used either as a seat cushion or as back support.
