Fine Motor Kits awarded to Ms. Manger for use at Briarwood and Brooklake

The increasing academic focus in early elementary classrooms has inadvertently reduced opportunities for students to develop essential fine motor skills. This often leads to more children struggling with learning tasks that require mature fine motor control.

This grant funds materials that support the development of fine motor skills - tweezers, clothes pins, lacing beads, wooden cubes, blocks, playdough, tongs, laces and math manipulatives. Each Kindergarten and Special Services classroom will have a kit.
