Solar Eclipse Glasses awarded to Ms. Esteves at Ridgedale
April 8, 2024, will be a truly momentous day for our school community as a total solar eclipse graces North America. While New Jersey won't witness 100% totality, we're set for an incredible show with 85-95% of the sun obscured – a rare and unforgettable event!
To ensure everyone experiences this wonder safely, the FPEF funded 1,000 sets of protective eyewear for every single student, faculty, and staff member!
Students will have the unique opportunity to witness the beginning of this awe-inspiring event during the school day, and then they'll head home with their protective glasses to safely view the remainder of the eclipse. Get ready to look up and marvel at this incredible astronomical phenomenon together!
