Wordless picture books provide an excellent and accessible avenue for fostering literacy development by incorporating skills like inference, retelling and comprehension. It allows students of all abilities and languages to read a book.  Moreover, wordless picture books promote writing and creativity.  Students can write their own dialogue and create their own stories.
