This grant funds a Toniebox audio system and a curated collection of story characters, including favorites like Pete the Cat and Elephant & Piggie, to create an engaging, screen-free listening center in the classroom. By placing a figure on the durable audio box, students independently listen to beloved books, themed holiday tales, and calming music during center rotation, playtime, or self-regulation breaks. Repeating story audio helps strengthen foundational literacy, vocabulary, and listening comprehension while offering a cozy, comforting space for emotional regulation throughout the school day.
