Modernizing Science Labs with Digital Scales

25 Compact Classroom Electronic Scales awarded to Ms. Russo at Ridgedale Middle School

This grant helps update equipment and tools used in the science labs. New technology is expensive and all classes have been using the out-dated version of a scale - the triple beam balance.  While a foundational tool in the past, its use no longer aligns with the skills students need for the future.

The introduction of digital scales will not only modernize our labs but also equip students with a practical, relevant skill they can apply in various aspects of their lives, fostering a more engaging and effective learning experience.
